Meet the Team

JonathanFounderResearch • Ideas • Writing

Jonathan started Project Cognify after asking a simple question: Why is it so easy to spend hours on a game, but so difficult to focus on homework?

That question sparked the project and continues to guide its direction. He enjoys researching ideas, asking questions, and understanding how technology and human behavior influence the way we learn.

“The best ideas usually start with a simple question.”

JeremyCo-FounderEngineering • Design • Building

Despite challenges he faces during building and design, Jeremy attempts to reach a result molded around his team's ideas. He attempts to take the miniscule aspects of the design into consideration, as well as pouring hours into the development of the project. Overall, Jeremy is a hardworking yet capable individual who strives to put his all into the project.

“Keep reaching toward your goals, they're (most likely) never too far out of reach.”

RyanCo-FounderOutreach • Interviews • Communication

Ryan enjoys working with people and sharing ideas. He helps document the team's progress, gather feedback, and communicate what Project Cognify is learning along the way.

“Learning is better when you share the journey.”

How We Work

We're three high school students who share an interest in technology, video games, and studying. We started Project Cognify with one observation, but it's grown into more through careful research, collaboration, and a willingness to challenge our own assumptions.

While each of us contributes in different ways, every major decision is made together. From coming up with ideas to reviewing research, running surveys, and building our prototype, it would be impossible to imagine Project Cognify as is without any of us.

What We Believe

Project Cognify isn't about proving we're right.

It's about asking better questions, following the evidence, and building something that could help students.
