Jonathan started Project Cognify after asking a simple question: Why is it so easy to spend hours on a game, but so difficult to focus on homework?
That question sparked the project and continues to guide its direction. He enjoys researching ideas, asking questions, and understanding how technology and human behavior influence the way we learn.

Despite challenges he faces during building and design, Jeremy attempts to reach a result molded around his team's ideas. He attempts to take the miniscule aspects of the design into consideration, as well as pouring hours into the development of the project. Overall, Jeremy is a hardworking yet capable individual who strives to put his all into the project.

Ryan enjoys working with people and sharing ideas. He helps document the team's progress, gather feedback, and communicate what Project Cognify is learning along the way.

We're three high schoolers into tech, games, and studying (or at least trying to). What started as one offhand observation turned into something bigger once we started actually digging into it: reading, arguing with each other about what the data meant, redoing surveys we messed up the first time.
Nobody owns a single lane here. Jeremy leans engineering, Ryan leans outreach, Jonathan leans research and writing, but the big calls (what to build, what the survey should even ask, when to scrap an idea) get made as a group, usually after some back-and-forth.
We'd rather end up with a question we didn't expect than a confirmation of the one we started with. That's mostly what this project has been so far, and we're fine with that as long as it's actually leading somewhere useful for students.
